Hours of Operation: 6am -6pm Monday - Friday
Our Mission: The Growing Tree Learning Center is committed to serve one another with the love and compassion of Christ. We strive to provide high quality child care, fun and creative learning activities, and socialization for all age groups.
Programs We Offer: Pre-School, Daycare, Before and After School Programs
All pre-school classes are included in daycare costs.
Discounts are offered when more than one child is enrolled.
We are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
Child Care Service Cost are based on income availability for those that qualify
Lunch and snacks are provided for all children enrolled.
Our History
The Growing Tree Learning Center opened in August of 2019 in Carrollton, Ohio. We share the campus at St. Johns Villa. We started with 8 kids enrolled serving 5 families, we now serve 41 families and 67 children ages 6 weeks-12 years! We are a 3 star rated Center through the State of Ohio’s Step up to quality program. Our Pre School class is committed to Kindergarten preparedness and our school age program has an outreach called “The Giving Tree” and they have raised and donated items to our local food pantry, provided Christmas presents to a local family in need and continue to be active in charitable programs.
We are anticipating breaking ground to build larger facility in fall of this year, 2023, this will allow us to serve many more families in the Carroll county area.
The center is led by Director Tammy Vonwyl, who brings over 10 years of childcare experience and is dedicated to the children, families, and staff here at the Growing Tree. Our team consists Taryn Best, Assistant Director and 12 loving, professional individuals who care for, teach, and protect our most precious commodities, the children!
