Our Story

Here at St. John's Villa, we work diligently to meet the needs of a population that strives for an independent life but needs additional support to thrive and grow as they mature. As a residential developmental disabled community each of our members has a plan that fits his or her physical, psychological, social, religious, educational, vocational, and recreational needs. The goal is to help him or her achieve and maintain their highest level of independence possible. The mission of our staff is to provide the residents with lives of dignity, beauty, challenge, and respect.

Individuals who are developmentally disabled are sometimes unable to cultivate an autonomous and healthy lifestyle, however with the appropriate atmosphere and guidance, they are able to express their extraordinary gifts and live in an environment where they are able to cultivate true happiness.

We offer all our residents a beautiful and spacious 52-acre campus located right in the heart of Carroll County Ohio. Our campus offers a wide array of amenities not only to our residents but to our staff as well.

Although St. John’s Villa is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, receives federal, state, and local funding, the quality programs provided depend on our community’s help and support. All charitable contributions from our friends and families are greatly appreciated.
